After posting the minimum (pass line) bet or more, the shooter’s first throw is called the come out roll. If the Come out roll shows either 7 or 11 the shooter wins even money. If the numbers add up to 2, 3 or 12 the shooter loses his initial bet. If the shooter gets a 4, 5,6,8,9 or 10, then this is called “the point number” – hence the game continues. The shooter then tries to get the point number again, however if he gets a 7 first, then the game ends with him losing.
